The Confidence Factor

Maintaining Confidence

Confidence can be a tenuous thing. It needs support to be maintained. It gets support by filling our subconscious mind with positive thoughts. Practicing being positive and making it a habit of mind will improve all parts of your life. You can make it a fun activity and involve your friends or family. If there are negatives in our subconscious they will speak up and undermine confidence. When you think about future events, a negative mindset creates anxiety and a positive mindset creates anticipation. When thinking about past errors, a negative mindset creates depression or self-doubt and a positive mindset reveals learning opportunities and feedback to inform our future performance. Positivity is tied to confidence. Confidence cannot exist where negativity does. When you tee off negatives will pop up and undermine confidence. The more positive thoughts and ideas you can stuff into your subconscious, the less room there is for anything negative.
